BHASVIC recent alumni and regular Springboard entrants, Berniya and Riya Hamie, are to perform Chopin and Rachmaninov’s towering sonatas for cello and piano – two Romantic masterpieces in G minor – preceded by the colourful lyricism and virtuosity of Ligeti’s Sonata for solo cello.The sisters are founding members of the award-winning Astatine Trio, recently named BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists for 2025-27.Programme:
